An education at St. Philip the Apostle School extends beyond the classroom and into the local community. Grades K-5 take about two field trips each year. Grades 6-8 have overnight educational experiences with 6th grade going to Yosemite, 7th grade going to Catalina Island and 8th grade going to Washington D.C. Trips are chosen to enhance and broaden each grade-level curriculum.
